We have now been the proud owners of a home in North Vancouver for a year (and 2 days)!
This time last year, we made the crazy choice to buy a house and, if that were not enough, to move in right before Christmas!
We don’t regret it though. We love it here. We have made (some) changes, settled in, and developed a new routine. We have big dreams for this house! Hopefully in 2008 we’ll make a few of them happen.

Alex and I are knee-deep in our renos right now…yes you guessed it- a Christmas move for us into the first home we’ve owned. It looks like our possession dates are within a day of each other.
My back is killing me. New floors, painting, etc…I’m looking forward to a break at Christmas time :)
Thanks! We moved in so quickly that we didn’t have a chance to do those things. And we soon figured out that we are BAD painters.
But yes, in 2008 the floors are our goal. We need to rip out some very crazy tile, so it’s going to be a big construction project. After that finishes destroying the livingroom walls, which is sadly inevitable, then we’ll finally get rid of the horrid yellow!
