Around 8:30am on Saturday the Woodwards building was demolished in a controlled explosion. I didn’t wake up early enough to make it downtown to see it, but I’m satisfied with all the videos people have put online.

That was awesome! I don’t remember Woodwards because we moved to the states when I was little but my sister says it was a giant department store. I do remember The Hudson Bay Company. Ah, Canada…how I miss thee.
