My bud Leora recommended a new CD to me, by Corinne Bailey Rae (CD of the same name). I’ve listened to it through a couple of times now, and am really enjoying it. She has a very blues-Billie Holiday voice and style, beautiful like warm water flowing over you.
Check her out on her website if you haven’t heard of her yet. She’s a huge hit in Europe, and likely will be a smash here too. Great CD.
