Yeah yeah, there are a lot of iPod and iPod mini cases out there. But this particular one caught my eye.
It’s called the INROU – the name comes from the Japanese inrou, which is a small lacquer medicine box that is hung from a kimono sash. This iPod mini looks and acts in just the same way.
The case is made from lacquer (instead of the usual plastic). This means it will get more shiny over age and also is germ-resistant. But you’ve not likely cared before about that. “Oooh, I don’t want that iPod case. It has germs!” Um, no.
Anyway, it’s about $87USD.
