Wohoo. The teaser trailer for the next Harry Potter movie, the Goblet of Fire, is out and available on the Apple homepage. Gotta love the Mac.

Anyway, it looks WAY better than the last movie. The last movie was preemptively dark and way too artistic. What was with that tree? Cut out all the meat of the movie but instert like 10 minutes of “tree” shots. I have so much to rant about that movie, but I will withhold.

This movie looks way better. Amazing on detail yet again. Will be nice to have the introduction of all the new characters. I read the series a bit late, but am as addicted as the rest. I think the Goblet of Fire is a great book and looks like it will be a good movie. Lots of adventure.

I have enjoyed reading the series because it is a compelling and imaginitive story, but I also really appreciate the growth in the author. JK Rowling has changed her audience pitch and her level of skill has been growing immensly. It’s a great thing to witness. Kudos to her.

Anyway, can’t wait for the movie. Wohoo.

Go read the books! I plan to reread the series before this movie comes out. I always like the memories to be fresh (plus, it gives more perspective the second time around).

Oh, and don’t forget to preorder for the next book, #6, the Half-Blood Prince. I preorderd a couple months back. Oh yes.
