Today marks the day when Blogaholics officially got out of the Google sandbox.
Not only that, but our new and improved PageRank also applies to Vancouver Coffee and Blogging Help. No more sandbox.
Wohoo.

“Ehh, it’s a nerd thing, it is amazing that the change of a bunch of numbers can get a lot of people so excited that they will jump up and down.”
congrats guys.
what is the origin of this word ‘sandbox’ in relation to google?
congratulations – quick question.
Are you seeing an increase in traffic? In my experience getting a higher page rank doesn’t always equal getting out of the sandbox (ie getting higher SERPs). Hope it does in this case for you guys.
Hard to tell at this point. Blogaholics fluctuates a lot, so I’ll give it a week to see the trends. For sure, Blogging Help has seen a rise in traffic.
Can you inform me the G’s sandbox average period for a site of 2500 pages.
Thanks in advance
The issue of the sandbox is not documented and seems to vary widely.
With 2500 pages I am surprised you are in the sandbox at all. That is a lot of content.
From my experience it would seem that links are vastly important. How many people link to you on an ongoing basis is kind of a proof, it would seem, that you’re a valid site with good content.
Give it a couple of months. But also make sure your site is optomized for Google to index it properly.
