I invite you to attend a professional development event about public speaking. Keynote speaker Dorothea Hendriks of Toastmaster’s International will talk about how effective public speaking skills can help you become a better communicator in the boardroom, in presenting yourself and your ideas and in everyday interactions.

In this free event, attendees will learn useful skills and participate in “Impromptu Speaking” small group work (i.e. You’ve been given the opportunity to get the job of your life and you have two minutes to give your case). The session will wrap up with an evaluation of the speaker and a discussion about giving positive feedback. Also in attendance at the event are Anne Kramer, DTM, District Governor of BC and Mike Robinson, DTM, Lt Governor of BC, Education & Training.
