This is the new design of Blogaholics.

It’s been a few weeks in coming, but it’s finally working the way we like it.

The design is based around the idea of a corkboard as a place where you put “notes” or “posts”. aha. blog posts. easy connection, eh?

The photography that is highlighted in the header was done by Ianiv – we will be adding more photography to this later. Ianiv also did the photography for the post it, the pins, and the coffee mug. Although Arieanna came up with the inspiration for the site and acted as the art designer, Ianiv executed all Photoshopping and programming for the site.

The design was intended to highlight many of the things that Blogaholics stands for: blogging, Vancouver, and coffee just to name a few.

We used a number of elements to make the design clean and interesting, such as the colour bars and the black title features. We have also released the Google Search function, a section on books we are reading, new sections for About Us and Contact Us, and more ways to view the subcategories our posts are associated with.

The “//blogaholics” title will become our new logo, so to speak.

Also to come, a photographic footer featuring snippets of some of the more “artistic” of our photography.
